EXPERT TIP – HOW TO PICK A SHADE AND STRAND TEST
The key to perfect colour depends on your hair’s structure as this affects how quickly the pigments in the hair colour adhere to your hair.
Because of the professional grade pigments, this product tends to result darker than the shade displayed on the box, especially if your hair is fine and light-coloured, or has been sensitised by highlights or ammonia and peroxide colour treatments, the hair will absorb pigments more easily. If this is the case, ALWAYS start with a shade 1 or 2 tones lighter than the shade you identify your colour to be on the picture displayed on the box.
Thick hair and brown shades absorb colour less quickly. In any case, if this is the first time you’re using this shade, we advise you to carry out a strand test on your hair to be sure you have chosen the correct shade.
HOW TO DO A STRAND TEST
In a glass or plastic dish (NEVER METAL), mix enough product to cover a strand, in a proportion of 2/3 of the developer to 1/3 of colouring cream.
Choose one of the lightest or greyest strands to carry out this test, apply the colour to the strand and leave it for the required time. Rinse completely, dry and compare the strand to the remainder of your hair under bright natural light.

Can I mix two or more different shades?
No, it is not recommend mixing different shades. Mixing shades can result in an undesired colour outcome.
Can I keep my colour after mixing the Professional Nourishing Colouring Cream and Professional Developing Milk?
No, once the product has been mixed, you will need to discard any unused mixture left.
My hair colour looks very similar to the shade displayed on the box, shall I pick this colour or lighter?
If this is the first time you’re using this product, we recommend you choose a shade that is one or two shades lighter.
I’m used to colouring my hair, should I not bother doing a strand test?
We always strongly recommend a strand test when using a shade for the first time.
